Die Kette(1977)

Die Kette is a British crime series that begins when Tom Dawson is killed by a golf ball struck by Peter Newton. Harry Dawson, Tom's son and a Scotland Yard inspector on leave, suspects foul play rather than accident. When Harry arranges to meet Newton, he discovers him already murdered in his car. Chief Inspector Yardley and Inspector Nat Fletcher quickly turn their suspicion toward Harry himself, setting off a tense investigation where the grieving son must prove his innocence while uncovering the truth behind a chain of deaths. As Harry navigates the murky world of murder and deception, he finds himself caught between justice and suspicion.
