Find the Light(2003)

Find the Light is a Qing dynasty series about the unlikely friendship between Wang Wu, a reluctant student, and Tan Si Tong, a man fleeing an unwanted marriage. When Wu's mother enrolls him at a kung fu school to build his character, he meets the talented and versatile Tong. Under their master Chen Dao Yang's guidance, the two bond over their martial training and develop a shared sense of honour. Their friendship deepens into a genuine brotherhood. Complications arise when Princess Chao Lan arrives at the school and falls for Wu, while Tong struggles to escape his betrothed, Li Run. As romantic tensions and personal loyalties collide, the friends face a test of their devotion to one another.
