Floating Material(2011)

Floating Material follows Shun, the sole male teacher at Kyoukasen Girls' School, an elite institution nestled in a forest lake setting known as the "Water School." The academy serves as a sanctuary for emotionally wounded students. Shun encounters girls who have withdrawn from the world, struggle with self-doubt, or carry trauma from their pasts. Determined to guide them toward healing and growth, he works to help each student find a path forward. The series explores themes of recovery and resilience as Shun connects with his students and supports their journeys toward self-acceptance and renewed confidence.
