HIM(2016)

HIM is a British three-part miniseries that blends supernatural drama with the fractured reality of adolescence. Fionn Whitehead plays a seventeen-year-old boy caught between his divorced parents' separate households, each now remarried. Struggling to navigate the space between childhood and adulthood, he masks a darker burden: an inherited supernatural power he can barely control. His erratic behaviour masks a deeper crisis—the terrifying secret of abilities passed down from his grandfather. Only his aging grandmother grasps the weight of his gift and warns him to wield it for good, knowing that misuse could unleash catastrophe. As he grapples with typical teenage turmoil and extraordinary responsibility, the line between acting out and losing control grows dangerously thin. Katherine Kelly and James Murray round out the cast in this exploration of family fracture and inherited darkness.
