Mazu(2012)

Mazu is a mythological fantasy series rooted in Chinese legend. The Gods create a divine protector for the seas by bestowing blessings upon a baby named Lin Moniang, destined to become the ocean's guardian. The story draws from ancient Chinese myths surrounding Mazu, a revered sea goddess said to be the deified form of a historical Fujianese shamaness. As Lin Moniang grows into her supernatural role, she must navigate the burden of her divine purpose while confronting the turbulent forces of nature and the heavens.
