Morenga(1985)

Morenga is a historical drama set in German Southwest Africa, following two German veterinarians, Gottschalk and Wenstrup, who tend to cattle ranchers in the colonial territory. When a local leader named Morenga launches a rebellion against German rule, the uprising is met with brutal suppression. Caught between their loyalties and their conscience, the two vets risk everything to aid the native revolutionaries. The film explores the moral complexities of colonialism through the eyes of men forced to choose between their own people and those they've come to respect, set against the backdrop of a violent struggle for independence.
