Professional Father(1955)

Professional Father is a 1955 CBS sitcom starring Stephen Dunne as Dr. Tom Wilson, a child psychologist who excels with his patients but struggles to manage his own household. Barbara Billingsley plays his wife Helen, two years before her iconic role as June Cleaver in Leave It to Beaver. Beverly Washburn and Ted Marc round out the Wilson family as daughter Kit and son Twig, whose baseball team is called The Beavers—a detail that would prove ironic given Billingsley's future casting.
