Sectaurs(1986)

Sectaurs is a syndicated animated miniseries following a war between two races on the planet Symbion. When a lab experiment goes catastrophically wrong, insect-like mutants emerge and organize under the ruthless leader Spidrax, forming the Terror Troops and threatening universal destruction. The scientists responsible for the disaster create the Sectuars, a humanoid warrior race, to fight back against the mutant threat. Across five half-hour episodes, the two factions clash in an epic battle for Symbion's survival and the fate of the cosmos.
