Summer Snow(2000)

Summer Snow is a Japanese drama series about two young people finding solace in each other. Natsuo has shouldered adult responsibilities since his parents died—raising his younger siblings and managing the family bicycle shop. Yuki lives under the constraints of a chronic illness that has isolated her from the world. When they meet, Natsuo discovers in Yuki the only person he can truly confide in, while she finds in him the courage to break free from the limitations that have defined her life. Their connection becomes a quiet refuge for both, as they help each other navigate the weight of their circumstances and discover what it means to live fully.
