The Sieve(2014)

The Sieve is a historical drama set in 1927 Damascus during the French Mandate. When Salem, son of a prominent local leader, is murdered in the Al Shaghour neighborhood, the killing reveals a dangerous conspiracy. Salem possessed documents containing incriminating language that threatened a powerful faction known as Al Saraya. The crime triggers a tense investigation that exposes the political tensions simmering beneath the surface of the occupied city. As characters navigate loyalty, power, and survival, the murder becomes a catalyst for uncovering deeper corruption and factional rivalries.
