Badia Masabni is a biographical film chronicling the life of the legendary Lebanese-Egyptian entertainer. Born in Lebanon, Masabni endures a traumatic assault in her youth before relocating to Egypt, where she reinvents herself as a dancer and actress. She marries fellow performer Najib Al-Rihani, but the union dissolves amid personal and professional tensions. As her theater empire faces mounting tax burdens, Masabni makes the difficult decision to sell her venue to dancer Biba and flee back to Lebanon with her accumulated wealth. The film traces her journey from victimhood to independence, capturing both her artistic triumphs and the solitude that ultimately defines her final years.
