The Food of Fear(1994)

The Food of Fear is a dark Mexican film set in an impoverished Mexico City neighborhood where Don Ramón and his wife Petra run a circus act. When they take in the young daughter of a jailed drug trafficker, Petra puts her to work on household chores while the girl befriends Pepito, a street clown. Tension erupts when a sinister stranger arrives and fixates on Petra, sparking a violent confrontation between the three adults. The clash ends in tragedy for the child, and Petra makes a horrifying decision: to use the girl's remains as filling for the tamales she sells.
