The Pilot(1984)

The Pilot is a film about Carla, a talented break-dancer held back by her own self-doubt. Unable to overcome her insecurities enough to perform publicly, she finds an unconventional solution: donning a mask to transform into "The Pilot." This alter ego gives her the freedom to express her gift without the weight of her fears. The story explores how sometimes we need to shed our identity, at least temporarily, to discover what we're truly capable of.
