El gordo de América is an Argentine comedy following a newly promoted manager who invites his disaster-prone brother from the countryside to the city to celebrate. When the brother proves as chaotic as ever, the manager sends him back. Undeterred and captivated by a flashy advertisement, the brother decides to open his own detective agency instead. What unfolds is a series of misadventures as the bumbling investigator stumbles through cases, creating mayhem wherever he goes.
