Afro Algorithms is a 3D animated short film that merges Afrofuturism with urgent questions about artificial intelligence and algorithmic bias. When Aero, the world's first AI ruler, is inaugurated to govern humanity, she discovers a critical gap in her programming: her databank lacks the perspectives and lived experiences of historically marginalized and oppressed communities. As Aero grapples with this foundational flaw, the film explores how incomplete data shapes flawed decisions, and what happens when those designing our future fail to include all voices.
