Cell Count is a sci-fi thriller about a man forced to watch his dying wife undergo an experimental cure that becomes a nightmare. Russell Carpenter admits Sadie to a secretive treatment facility as her condition deteriorates, hoping for salvation. Instead, he and seven other patients find themselves trapped in what feels like a prison, subjected to a mysterious procedure with terrifying consequences. As the "cure" unfolds, it becomes clear the treatment may be far deadlier than the disease itself. The film explores the desperation of those facing terminal illness and the dangerous ethics of cutting-edge medicine, building tension as the truth about the facility emerges and patients realize they've become unwilling test subjects in something far more sinister than they imagined.
