Dark Fields is a horror film about a farmer whose discovery of an ancient top hat unleashes an Indian curse on his land. The artifact brings devastation to his crops and inflicts a mysterious wasting sickness on the farming community's adults, slowly reducing them to dust. As the affliction spreads, the farmer must commune with the cursed hat itself to uncover the only means of salvation for his people. The film blends folk horror with supernatural dread, exploring themes of land, legacy, and the dangerous consequences of disturbing the past.
