Evil Spawn is a science fiction horror film about an aging actress who becomes a monster. When a scientist dies before completing his rejuvenation experiments using microbes brought back from Venus, his assistant offers the untested serum to a fading Hollywood star desperate to reclaim her youth. The treatment works—briefly—but when she's still rejected for major roles, the alien bacterium transforms her into a grotesque bug-like creature with a murderous agenda. As her former rivals and detractors begin disappearing, the actress must confront what she's become while the body count rises around her.
