Revenge at Any Cost

Prototype follows Alex Mackendrick, a geeky high-schooler rejected by his girlfriend, boss, and stepfather. When he steals a pair of telekinetic gloves from his only friend—an experimental scientist—Alex gains unexpected power. The friendship ends in tragedy when the scientist is accidentally killed during a struggle over the gloves. Convinced his life is ruined, Alex spirals into a resentment-fueled revenge campaign, wielding his new kinetic abilities against everyone who's wronged him. The God-fearing teen's moral compass fractures as he pursues payback, transforming from bullied outsider into something far more dangerous. Prototype explores how power corrupts and how isolation breeds violence.
