My Friends from Afar(2017)

My Friends from Afar is a Singaporean sci-fi comedy series about an alien team sent from the dying planet Amikus to find a new home and locate a missing defector. To blend in, they pose as an ordinary family living next door to the Yang household. Tension crackles when Feng Jiao clashes with neighbor Yang Tian Sheng—their antagonism soon shifts into romance. Complications mount when another team member falls for a human woman and she becomes pregnant, while a nosy neighbor discovers their true identities and blackmails them. As their leader navigates unexpected love and an alien-human baby arrives, the mission unravels. The team must track down the defector hiding in human form among them while keeping their cover intact. Balancing extraterrestrial duty with earthly emotions, the group faces an impossible choice between their planet's survival and their newfound connections.
