Operation "SharkHunt" is a Hong Kong series that follows Inspector Yuai Hui as his personal and professional lives spiral into chaos. After breaking up with his girlfriend Chu Pao Wen, Hui begins an affair with senior inspector Lin His Ya, but the relationship proves unstable. When his troubled sister Li Hung, who harbors unrequited feelings for Hui's subordinate Ma Jo Chi, accidentally injures someone, Hui covers for her—a decision that costs him his badge and career. Desperate and bankrupt after Pao Wen sabotages his business, Hui turns to crime with his cousin Yuan An. A fatal car accident during a robbery attempt lands Hui in prison, while Li Hung's subsequent blackmail of Yuan An sets off a chain of tragic consequences. The series explores how one act of loyalty unravels into betrayal, desperation, and irreversible loss.
