Casseta & Planeta, Urgente! is a Brazilian comedy series that showcases the satirical humor of the seven-member group Casseta & Planeta. Broadcast by Rede Globo, the show delivers sharp commentary on religion, ethics, and social minorities through sketches and comedic segments. The group emerged from the merger of two earlier projects: the magazine Casseta Popular and the humor newspaper O Planeta Diário. After joining forces, they began writing for Rede Globo's comedy programming in 1988 before launching their own series. Each member brings a distinct role to the ensemble, which operates through their production company, Toviassu Produções Artísticas. Beyond television, Casseta & Planeta expanded into publishing, creating books and other merchandise that extended their irreverent brand of Brazilian comedy to wider audiences.
