Bitter Woman's Lonely Meal is a Japanese drama series about Kawamoto Tsugumi, a socially withdrawn woman without friends who discovers an Instagram account called "White Horse." Captivated by the beautifully photographed meals and resonant captions, Tsugumi begins eating alone at the same restaurants, recreating the posts. Unknown to her, the account's creator, Shiraishi Kazuma, has noticed her consistent likes and finds unexpected joy in their one-sided connection. As both seek solace through food and photography, their parallel loneliness draws them closer through a screen. The series explores how two isolated people find meaning and human connection in the most unexpected way, turning a simple digital interaction into something deeply personal.
