Cabocla(1979)

Cabocla is a Brazilian soap opera set in 1920s rural Espírito Santo, exploring power struggles among local politicians. When Luís Jerônimo, a young man from Rio de Janeiro, arrives at Colonel Boanerges's farm to recover from a lung illness, he meets and falls in love with Zuca, the colonel's goddaughter.
