Heridas is a Spanish drama series that follows two isolated lives in Andalusia. Manuela, a young researcher, lives alone in a cabin studying the region's wetlands through patient bird observation. Kilometres away, seven-year-old Alba struggles with neglect while her mother Yolanda works nights, leaving the child largely unsupervised. When these two worlds collide, an unexpected bond forms between the solitary woman and the abandoned girl. The series explores themes of loneliness, maternal absence, and the quiet ways humans connect across distance and circumstance. Shot against the atmospheric backdrop of Spain's marshlands, Heridas examines how broken lives can find healing through unlikely relationships.
