Fourteen-year-old Kang Maru, a skilled pilot in RESTOL simulation games, is recruited by GEONOID to operate RESTOL 03—one of five giant rescue mechas designed to protect Earth from natural disasters. Alongside his team, Maru responds to catastrophes across the globe while defending against cyber attacks on their orbital command station, R-SAT. As he navigates both the physical dangers of rescue operations and digital threats from hackers, Maru discovers that piloting a mecha in real emergencies demands far more than gaming prowess.
