A Professor is an Italian drama series based on the Catalan format Merlí. Dante Balestra, a charismatic philosophy teacher, returns to Rome after years away to reconnect with his son Simone. Taking a position at Leonardo Da Vinci High School, he brings unconventional teaching methods that captivate his students—including Simone—but blur the lines between his personal and professional worlds. When Anita, a former lover and mother of Manuel, a troubled student in his class, resurfaces from his past, the complications deepen.
