Westwall is a German thriller series that follows Julia, a young trainee police officer who becomes entangled with Nick, a mysterious stranger she's instantly drawn to. When she discovers a massive swastika tattoo on his back, Julia's attraction turns to alarm—but instead of walking away, she decides to investigate the right-wing extremist underworld herself. Her search leads her deep into the Eifel forests and into the abandoned bunkers of Hitler's Siegfried Line, a sprawling World War II defense complex. There, Julia uncovers a terrorist hideout and confronts a dangerous truth: she and its inhabitant share far more than she bargained for. The series explores how ideology, attraction, and moral compromise can blur together in unexpected ways.
