I Get That a Lot(2009)

I Get That a Lot is a reality television special that puts celebrities to work in ordinary jobs while hidden cameras capture the public's reactions. When customers or passersby recognize a famous face, the celebrity denies their identity and claims "I get that a lot"—a running gag that continues until the reveal. Created by Danny Harris and originally airing on CBS, the show trades on the comedy of near-misses and double-takes as everyday people almost place a familiar face but can't quite confirm it. The format proved popular enough to travel: early episodes aired in Australia on Channel Ten, and France adapted the concept into its own version, Sosie! Or Not Sosie?, which ran on TF1.
