Old Friends(2011)

Old Friends is a drama series about three lifelong companions facing the final chapters of their lives. When José is placed in a retirement home against his will, his friends Carlos and Matias devise a daring escape plan. The two break him out and flee to Matias's remote house in the north, unable to return home. José's nine-year-old grandson Pedro stows away with them, unwilling to be separated from his grandfather. What begins as a desperate act of friendship becomes an unexpected road trip that forces the aging men to confront their loneliness, their fractured families, and what freedom truly means. Stubborn and set in their ways, the three old friends must navigate both the authorities hunting them and their own complicated hearts as they discover that sometimes the greatest adventures happen when you have nothing left to lose.
