Hungry Souls is a supernatural drama following Bao, a young chef cursed with the ability to see ghosts. He's spent years keeping his gift hidden, avoiding the restless spirits that cross his path. During the Hungry Ghost Festival—a time when the boundary between worlds grows dangerously thin—Bao's careful isolation shatters when he meets Soo Lian, a stubborn ghost trapped between realms. Refusing reincarnation, Soo Lian demands Bao's help to find her lost lover, Hock, before she's forced to move on. What begins as an unwanted obligation becomes a journey that forces Bao to confront both the supernatural world he's fled and the human connections he's denied himself. The series blends folklore, romance, and mystery as Bao navigates impossible choices during a festival where the living and dead walk side by side.
