Love You Stranger(2022)

Love You Stranger is a series that follows LJ, a production designer haunted by her upbringing caring for her reclusive mother, Lorraine. Lorraine is consumed by fear of Lilom, a shadowy creature from local folklore in the old town of Sta. Castella. As LJ grapples with her mother's grip on her life and her own unresolved trauma, she lands an unexpected opportunity: designing for a film based on the very Lilom legend that shaped her childhood. The project pairs her with Ben, a charismatic young director. Love You Stranger weaves together family dysfunction, folklore, and the blurred lines between myth and reality as LJ confronts the demons—literal and psychological—that define her world.
