Once Upon a Time in Serbia(2022)

Once Upon a Time in Serbia is a post-war drama following four young people whose lives diverge across Europe during and after World War II. Dine is swept to Paris by the Allies, where he discovers the glamour of city life, while Cone suffers amnesia and ends up in industrial Manchester, learning the value of hard work. Both men return to their decaying hometown of Leskovac, transformed by their experiences and driven by newfound ambition. Dine finds his movie theater in ruins and searches for romance anew, while Cone discovers his fiancée has promised herself to a war profiteer after five years of waiting. Their struggle to reclaim love and rebuild their lives becomes a battle between the old world and the new, set against the backdrop of post-war reconstruction and the promise of progress.
