Tsuka no Ma no Ichika(2022)

Tsuka no Ma no Ichika is a Japanese series following Sendawara Ichika, a university student living on borrowed time. Years ago, a doctor gave her two years to live—a diagnosis she has already outlived. Now she navigates each day uncertain whether it will be her last. Ichika finds solace in philosophy professor Yurugi Akifumi's lectures on life's meaning, one of the few students who actually listens. As the two grow closer, Akifumi abruptly quits and vanishes. When Ichika encounters him again, she hopes to rekindle their connection, only to receive an unexpected revelation. The series explores mortality, connection, and what it means to truly live when time is finite.
