La fiera(1983)

La fiera is a Spanish-language drama following Natalie, a poor girl from a humble neighborhood who falls in love with Victor Afonso, her childhood friend and heir to the city's wealthiest family. Living under the control of a cruel old woman who forces her to beg, Natalie is nicknamed "The Beast." When fortune-telling cards predict her future happiness, the old woman sells her to The Greek, a wealthy suitor—unaware that Natalie and Victor have secretly married. Victor's parents annul the union and reject Natalie when she becomes pregnant with twins. With support from her friend La Costeña, a cabaret performer, and The Greek himself, Natalie rebuilds her life and gives birth to her children. But The Greek's generosity comes with hidden strings attached, setting the stage for a reckoning that will test everything Natalie has fought to protect.
