Roktokorobi(2023)

Roktokorobi is a Bengali psychological thriller that follows Satyaki, a psychologist whose world unravels when one of his patients takes their own life during treatment. Wracked with guilt and unable to practice, Satyaki flees to his aunt's home in Jonai after locals destroy his practice. What begins as a refuge becomes something far darker. Uncanny and disturbing events unfold within the house, blurring the line between Satyaki's fractured mental state and genuine supernatural occurrences. As reality grows increasingly unstable, Satyaki must confront both the trauma of his past and the malevolent forces—real or imagined—that surround him. The film explores grief, guilt, and psychological breakdown with mounting dread.
