Mrs. Mayor is an Israeli comedy series about Safia, a widowed university professor reluctantly thrust into local politics. Her cousin Galal convinces her to run for mayor of the small village Tel Shaboura, hoping she'll be a puppet leader who keeps his family's grip on power intact.
