Üç İstanbul is a Turkish historical drama set during the turbulent years before the Second Constitutional Era, when journalism and political upheaval gripped the country. Adnan, a law student from Aksaray, takes work as a tutor in a pasha's mansion, teaching the pasha's daughter Süheyla. Though idealistic about freedom, Adnan earns the pasha's respect through his integrity. He plans to marry Süheyla until he encounters Belkıs Hanım, the daughter of a corrupt and unpopular pasha—a woman already married to a progressive officer. Torn between duty and desire, Adnan must navigate the competing claims of love and honor. Adapted from Mithat Cemal Kuntay's novel, the series captures early twentieth-century Istanbul through the eyes of a young man caught between tradition and change.
