Macron 1(1986)

Macron 1 is a 1986 animated series created by Saban Entertainment from combined footage of two Japanese shows. In the US version, test pilot David Chance is accidentally transported to a parallel universe ruled by the tyrannical organization GRIP and its leader Dark Star. This breach allows GRIP to invade Earth, while Dark Star's cyborg enforcer Orn takes control of the alternate dimension. Two teams fight back under the Macron 1 banner: one battles GRIP's forces on Earth, while Beta Command works to overthrow Orn in the parallel universe. The series primarily follows the Earth-based Macron team's struggle against Dark Star's legions, with Beta Command's resistance efforts appearing less frequently throughout the show.
