Kung Fu(1975)
Kung Fu follows Liu Zhong-yuan, a reclusive martial artist who breaks his isolation to open a martial arts school, hoping to guide his wayward son. Liu Long dreams of becoming a movie star rather than mastering the family's fighting traditions, a rift that pulls him toward the criminal underworld and away from his father's values. As Liu Zhong-yuan watches his son spiral, he must decide whether his martial prowess and moral compass can redirect Liu Long before it's too late. The film explores family duty, generational conflict, and redemption against the backdrop of martial arts tradition. Liu Feng, his eldest daughter, works alongside him in the clinic while his second daughter, Liu Yi, pursues university instead of fighting. Caught between preserving his legacy and saving his son, Liu Zhong-yuan faces his greatest battle yet—not in combat, but in fatherhood.
