On the Edge of the Abyss is a drama series that follows three interconnected lives caught in cycles of resentment and regret. Nader struggles to navigate his parents' toxic marriage, torn between love and hatred. Lulia endures persecution from her stepmother Dalal, whose bitterness escalates to attempted murder. Dalal blames Lulia for her own misery, only to realize her mistake once Lulia vanishes from her life. Her husband Tahseen proves helpless, choosing escape over confrontation whenever conflict arises. As each character grapples with their role in the family's unraveling, the series explores how blame and avoidance can destroy those closest to us, and whether redemption is possible when damage runs this deep.
