Crime Scene Cleaner is a Taiwanese series following Chang Ya-nan, a former police academy student whose health forced her to leave training. After her husband—a police officer—dies unexpectedly, Ya-nan must support her family and takes work as a cleaner for Sunshine Cleaning Company, handling crime scenes and trauma sites. The job throws her into contact with a tight-knit team of colleagues working on society's margins. As Ya-nan navigates grief and financial hardship, she discovers unexpected warmth and human connection among her coworkers. The series balances the grim realities of their work with moments of camaraderie and resilience, exploring how ordinary people find meaning and solidarity in difficult circumstances.
