Mistress of the Mountain is a Russian drama series set in the 1990s mining village of Kamenny, where locals fear a centuries-old curse. Legend holds that Princess Maria Tumanova, the emerald mines' former owner, hid her treasures and cursed anyone who would claim them before her death. Villagers speak her name only in whispers, but seventeen-year-old Alyonka Koshkina openly defies the Basilisk's witchcraft. When her father discovers a jewelry box deep in the mines, the curse awakens, unleashing misfortune across the community.
