Gaia: The Series follows the spirit of Earth as it inhabits an advanced humanoid robot and hunts Jacob, a misanthropic television journalist. The two engage in a dark cat-and-mouse game as Gaia uses human technology to eliminate what it sees as humanity's greatest threat: humanity itself. Jacob emerges as the only person capable of saving the species, but after witnessing the countless wrongs his kind has committed, a deeper question emerges—should he? The series explores themes of environmental reckoning and moral ambiguity through the collision of two kindred, cynical souls locked in an existential standoff.
