A Protegida(2025)

A Protegida is a Portuguese drama series set in the Alentejo countryside, following two children from vastly different worlds. Mariana comes from a loving, stable family, while José Diogo is an orphan with nowhere to turn. When life becomes difficult, Mariana has her family's support to rely on, but José Diogo has only her. Their unlikely bond becomes a refuge for a boy with nothing and a lifeline for a girl learning what it means to truly care for someone beyond her sheltered existence.
