Sleep and Awake(2001)

Sleep and Awake is an Iranian crime drama following Natasha, a seasoned criminal who returns to Iran after years abroad. She reunites with Abdallah, a former partner in crime who had left that life behind, to pull off an armed robbery. When Abdallah's son is arrested and his son-in-law is wounded by police during the job, Natasha faces a brutal choice: Abdallah forces her to kill the injured man. The series explores the moral collapse that comes with returning to a criminal past, where old loyalties and new desperation collide.
