City of Light is a drama series centered on Kwong Ming Pawn Shop, a family business that has built its reputation over decades under the care of Uncle Kin, who raised orphaned siblings Kwan Ling and Kwan Chun as his own. Years of estrangement have driven the two apart, but financial crisis forces them to reunite at the struggling shop. Their return stirs old tensions and new complications, forcing the siblings to confront their fractured bond while fighting to save the business that shaped their lives.
