Kasumin(2001)

Kasumin is a Japanese animated series following Haruno Kasumi, a fourth-grader whose zoologist parents depart for Africa to conduct research. Left in the care of the wealthy Kasumi family, she moves into their sprawling mansion nestled deep in the forest. There, Kasumi discovers the household's secret: sentient talking appliances called Henamon. In exchange for room and board, she takes on domestic responsibilities including cooking and washing. As Kasumi settles into her new life surrounded by the quirky Kasumi family and their magical companions, she navigates friendship, responsibility, and wonder in equal measure.
