Taganrog(2025)

Taganrog is a Soviet-era drama set in 1941 during Nazi occupation. State security officer Viktor Shvets operates an underground resistance network under the assumed identity of Gustav Schwartz, recruiting hundreds of citizens into sabotage operations and leaflet distribution. As the movement grows, Vasily Afonov emerges as the resistance's leader. The series follows their dangerous efforts to organize an uprising against occupying forces, balancing clandestine operations with the constant threat of exposure. Taganrog captures the tension and moral complexity of wartime resistance, drawing on historical events of the Soviet struggle against Nazi Germany.
