Food Jammers
Food Jammers
Food Jammers is a cooking series that follows three Toronto-based makers—Micah Donovan, Chris Martin, and Nobu Adilman—who build unconventional cooking equipment from scrap metal, found objects, and salvaged parts. Building takes priority over cooking; the kitchen becomes their workshop. Each episode pairs their inventive contraptions with locally sourced ingredients and features live performances from indie and blues musicians including Comets on Fire, Stereolab, and Joel Plaskett. The show celebrates DIY culture and vernacular creativity, with the hosts sourcing materials from Toronto's markets, junkyards, and curbsides. Three seasons and a one-hour special have aired on Cooking Channel and Halogen TV in the United States.
